Ajgar Geeta
Tucked inside the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata is a teaching as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago - the Ajgar Geeta. As he lay on a bed of arrows after the Kurukshetra war, Bhishma answered King Yudhishthira's simple, deeply human question - "How does one live free of sorrow?" - by recounting an inner story of his own: the devotee Prahlada meeting a sage who lives after the manner of a python, accepting whatever comes and never longing for what does not.
Across 37 verses, this sage explains equanimity, non-attachment, one's own dharma, and the witness attitude - the very heart of Vedanta - through simple, everyday examples of food, clothing, and shelter.
Presented by Silent Wisdom Spiritual School, Ajgar Geeta is offered to every seeker who wishes to weave this ancient wisdom into everyday life, one verse at a time.
About Muni
Muni is the founder of Silent Wisdom Spiritual School, where the ancient sciences of Kriya Yog and Vedanta are shared in a way that is simple, practical, and easy to bring into everyday life.
At the heart of this teaching is a simple belief: spiritual wisdom is not meant to stay in the scriptures. It is meant to be lived - in how we work, how we relate to people, and how we meet the ordinary ups and downs of daily life. Ajgar Geeta, offered through Silent Wisdom Spiritual School, reflects this same spirit - taking a timeless teaching from the Mahabharata and making it accessible to anyone willing to sit with one verse at a time.
